 "In the late Spring of 2016 I took a horseback fly fishing camping trip to Alger Lakes in California and it was a incredibly enriching and peaceful experience! The journey to the lakes, traveling on horseback through the stunning backcountry, creates an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings, free from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
 As you ride on horseback towards Alger Lakes, the sound of the hooves against the ground, and the gentle swaying of the horse's body create a sense of calm and relaxation. The scenery around you is breathtaking, with mountains rising up on either side, and the beautiful forested terrain opening up as you go deeper into the wilderness.
 Upon arriving at Alger Lakes, the crystal-clear waters provide a beautiful and serene environment for fly fishing. The sound of the water gently lapping against the shore and the chirping of birds create a calming and wonderful experience. The water is a vibrant blue and teeming with fish, making it an ideal spot for any angler to cast a line.
 Camping beside the lake at night provides an opportunity to stargaze and appreciate the beauty of the night sky without the interference of city lights. The fresh air and lack of city noise also provide an opportunity to relax and rejuvenate, enjoying a peaceful slumber.
 The following days can be spent exploring the natural surroundings or fishing in the lake, where you can appreciate the natural beauty and the sense of solitude it offers. The tranquil environment and the natural surroundings allow you to disconnect from everyday life and appreciate the beauty of the present moment and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural world, to disconnect from technology, and to relax and recharge in the peace and tranquility of nature."
